Another Great Play from Blizzard

Taking place in the same universe as the previous Warcraft games and the well-known MMORPG World of Warcraft, Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos is an early example of excellence from Blizzard.

With high quality graphics and immersive gameplay this real-time strategy game is visually delightful, although the cutscene story graphics can drag at times.

If you're used to the previous Warcraft games you'll find this game familiar, although you will find a few new features such as a few tweaks to the character races and some improvements to multiplayer mode as well as the new playable factions - the undead scourge and the night elf sentinels.

Warcraft newbies will have to take it slower, although starting out in single-player mode makes it easy to get used to the game. Levels range from destroying towns to gathering lumber to hacking and slashing your way through dungeons, all linked together with a great story that will have you following twists and turns. The interface is easy to use, with help and information easily available. Warcraft III also brings in subgroups, a welcome tool for managing your party.

With both single-player campaigns and multiplayer capabilities, Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos has a huge degree of replayability. For the amount of hours you can spend in this world, it's well worth the price. Even better, the Warcraft III game editor allows you to create your own levels, making for even more time playing.
